Hey You!
Well, I should be editing my CT essay, but I will do that soon. I promise. I think I should write in my blog first though. I just have not had time to write in here lately because the past couple of weeks have been crazy. I’ve had different scholarships to turn in and homework to do, plus I have been working on top of all that. Family chaos has also been going on lately because my grandma has been living with us. If you have never dealt with a person who has Alzheimer’s, you should because it is quite the experience. My sweet, loving grandma who would have never said a mean word to anyone has recently had incidents where she has been entirely hateful to me and my family. I just look at her and I cry sometimes because I realize that we are losing her more and more every day. I wish there was a cure to this disease, because I do not like the fact that her condition is declining and never improving. We had an episode with her last night that absolutely brought me to tears and caused me to lose sleep. (I went to bed at 1 am last night). However, hopefully we’ll have some breakthrough soon and we’ll be able to place my grandma in assisted living or something that will help us out.
Let’s see, what else? Well, tomorrow I am using one of my college visits to go see UVA. I’ve seen the university before, but I have never actually set foot onto campus. So, I’m looking forward to seeing if I like this school or not. I have to get up early though, which is why I should finish this and get to bed soon.
I am looking forward to this weekend because I don’t have to work at all for the first time in a while. Tomorrow I will be gone all day and Saturday will be mostly fun and relaxation. I want to get some good runs in this weekend. Yep, I’m excited about catching up on the sleep I lost this week during this weekend. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I’ll see you all on Monday!

I’m sitting in a computer lab…
Well, I’m hanging out in English in the computer lab. I finished my web quest, so I’m pretty happy about that. Let’s see, this week is a 4 days week because we have Friday and Monday off for Labor Day. How cool is that? I’m going to Raleigh this weekend to spend some time with my family and see Aaron, so I’m very excited!!!! Hopefully this time off from school will get rid of some of the sickness here too. This week hasn’t been that bad so far, except for the calculus test that I am certain I failed. Oh well, we all probably did because we thought it was so hard.
Enough about calculus though. In other random news, I really need a new laptop. My charger cord does not like being pulled out of my computer or charging my computer at all sometimes. Maybe when I go to college I can have a new laptop. If anyone wants to buy me one, just leave a comment and we’ll talk later
Tomorrow is Wednesday, which means there’s only two more days left in this week. Eeeeek. I’m so glad I don’t have to work this labor day weekend. I plan on doing massive amounts of sleeping and/or napping. I am not sure what else I really want to say right now, so I’m just going to end this blog entry. I’ll write later this week when I have more coherent thoughts.
I hope everyone has a good labor day!!!
In other news, I’m working more and more on college stuff lately.

Sickness
Sickness is BAD. I am convinced that everyone in my school is sick with something. I missed school today too, but at least it wasn’t for the flu. Instead I just have some annoying virus. Hopefully I can come back to school tomorrow though because I don’t have a fever. I really hate getting behind on my school work. Plus, I had to miss work after school and the Watauga game, which made me kinda sad.
In other news, Aaron came to visit this weekend and that was fun. Or at least it was until we both got sick. That part wasn’t the best. I’m still really glad that I got to see him though. I think I’m going to Raleigh to visit with him on Labor Day. Speaking of Raleigh, I really miss it and GSE. It’s like my 2nd home. Plus, it’s a break from when things at home get too crazy with my grandma. She has Alzheimer’s disease and she’s staying with us right now. I don’t regret her being at her house; it just gets very frustrating sometimes. So a break now and then is welcome. Eek, only about 11 more days until my Raleigh visit…yay!!!
Hmm, what else? I’ve been working on my college apps more lately. I guess I’m just really anxious to finish them because I’m so ready to go to college. All of mine are due in November, so only a little more than 2 months away to turn them in. School isn’t that bad so far and most of my classes are good. I just wish all of the germs there would go away. Other than that, I don’t mind it so much. I mean it is senior year and all.
Well, I’m trying to teach myself the calculus that they learned today while I was out, so I should probably go focus on that. I’ll write later and hopefully I’ll feel much better when I do. Feel better everyone!!!!!!
PEACE!

Hellooooo there!
Well, I don’t normally blog. At least I haven’t since I was in elementary school on some weird site called Xanga. But, I think this could turn out to be a really cool thing for me, especially considering that there’s extra credit involved. (If you’re reading this Mrs. Rivers, thanks). I should be working on my homework right now, but this was much more enticing than calculus. Well, honestly, there aren’t many things that are worse than calculus. But, I complain about it all the time, so I’m sure that I don’t need to write about it on here. This week is going by slowly, which is sad. I always like the weeks that fly by and make me wonder where they have gone. Eh, whatever. I can’t wait for Friday!!!!! There’s the Watauga game AND I get to see Aaron.
