Well, I don’t normally blog. At least I haven’t since I was in elementary school on some weird site called Xanga. But, I think this could turn out to be a really cool thing for me, especially considering that there’s extra credit involved. (If you’re reading this Mrs. Rivers, thanks). I should be working on my homework right now, but this was much more enticing than calculus. Well, honestly, there aren’t many things that are worse than calculus. But, I complain about it all the time, so I’m sure that I don’t need to write about it on here. This week is going by slowly, which is sad. I always like the weeks that fly by and make me wonder where they have gone. Eh, whatever. I can’t wait for Friday!!!!! There’s the Watauga game AND I get to see Aaron.

You’re welcome
So…I think I mentioned this in your journal, but I hated calculus in high school too. I had an amazing teacher, though, and funnily enough, I ended up making a higher score on my AP calc test than I did my AP English. It’s not because I’m good at ANY math–It’s just because I had a good teacher. And the promise that if I scored high enough on my AP calc test, then I wouldn’t have to take math in college. It worked! Just think…at least you’re not taking it during your last semester of hs. Think of how unmotivated you’d be then…

Actually
AP Calc is next semester. Here it is year long, but we don’t get AP credit for it the first semester. Strange, I know. But the fact that I might not have to take math in college is what’s motivating me, just like it did you.
